Meet Lalita:
A Legacy of Healing and Teaching

A Pioneer in Natural Health

Originally from Argentina, Lalita served as Executive Director of the Ann Wigmore Natural Health Institute for nearly 30 years. At the start of her career, she held degrees in pharmacy science and education, but her passion for natural healing modalities led her to become a Kripalu-trained yoga instructor in the 1980s. This shift marked her transition from traditional pharmacology to embracing the "pharmacy of the kitchen" and the healing power of food as medicine.

Mentorship and Leadership

In 1991, Lalita began training directly with Ann Wigmore, finding both her mentor and mission. Ann Wigmore recognized Lalita and Leola Brooks as her successors, entrusting them with the leadership of the Ann Wigmore Center following her passing. Lalita has since been a Senior Instructor, specializing in all aspects of the Living Foods Lifestyle™, colon therapy, yoga, and lifestyle coaching.

A Global Ambassador
of Wellness

When not teaching on our campus, Lalita travels extensively across the United States, South America, and Europe, sharing the profound wisdom of the Living Foods Lifestyle™. Her teachings have enlightened thousands of students with her vast knowledge, immeasurable kindness, and boundless love.

Bilingual Educator

Lalita speaks two languages, allowing her to connect with a diverse array of students and communities. Her dedication to natural health and the Living Foods Lifestyle™ continues to inspire and transform lives globally.
